Kathi's House of Restoration is a ministry focused on serving orphaned children, but not in the traditional ways of housing, feeding and clothing in an institutional setting until they reach adulthood. Rather, it is a place where children are loved, taught, cared for, given medical care and spiritual guidance for a season - and then, God willing, placed in a family setting with extended family members.
This is in keeping with the desires of the Kenyan government, as they are opposed to traditional children's homes. The focus of the ministry is on serving those children orphaned by and infected with HIV/AIDs, but children orphaned through other circumstances will not be turned away.
