Yesterday I spent the day in the mountains with a team delivering food, water, solar lights and medical care to those still without electricity. Our supplies were delivered to us by the Puerto Rico National Guard to a church where we had gathered. The national guard has been activated since Hurricane Maria hit the island.
I am sending photos showing how the electric poles are damaged and the bridges destroyed 7 months after the hurricane and also photos to show the beauty of the island.
They are still struggling to recover. Many Puerto Ricans are out daily helping those in need.
Today I will going with a team to deliver our water backpacks.
