From the Ground

One of the things that keeps me motivated to get up early and stay up late working to raise funds for the team in Kenya are the stories of the Kenyan team’s work, their stories of lives changed.

They are now preparing a weekly report called From The Ground that highlights some of their work for the previous week. This report is prepared in Kenya by Chalo, PFC Communication Director. Some of you know Chalo and remember how years ago Chalo started as a volunteer in the computer school in Marurui. He soon became the director of the school and then was promoted to the position of Communication Director. An example of a live changed.

I believe by reading their stories, their ministry will become more personal for you. And, you will be touched by their dedication and commitment to reach those most vulnerable.

We are truly blessed to know and support this team 10,000 miles away who are spreading the gospel to the unreached, driving 10 hours through the night to deliver water back packs to villages with a cholera outbreak, going to prisons with a message of hope, treating children with jiggers, helping transform a hospital in the desert of northern Kenya, making visits to sick in the slums….and so much more. We can’t do these things ourselves…but we can support those who are doing these things.

Certainly let me know if you don’t want to receive these weekly reports.

Seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plea for the widow. Isaiah 1:17
